Butler BIGS sponsors Kappa Kappa Gamma's philanthropy week: Kappa Karnival

Butler BIGS sponsored Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the beginning of the 2019 school year for their week long philanthropic effort "Kappa Karnival".

The Cause

All efforts made during this week went towards supporting the Coburn Place. Coburn Place works to empower victims of interpersonal abuse - including domestic violence - to live as survivors. They have transitional housing at our building in Midtown Indianapolis, as well as in their Community Based Housing program.

The Week

The week featured a variety of events starting with givebacks in the local Broad Ripple community. They also had a kickball tournament on the Butler University mall where students could create teams and compete. Lip syncs were in full swing on Friday night as they wrapped up the week raising a total of $11,700.
