Information Exchange


BIGS Venture Philanthropy is composed of a highly skilled team educated in philanthropic practices. We hold knowledge in a variety of areas such as fundraising, volunteer engagement, and recipient partner management.


Fundraising


BIGS Fundraising Executive Graeme Wright specializes in fundraising anything that may be needed for your event. He negotiates on behalf of BIGS with corporations and local businesses to acquire sponsorships, partnerships, donations, or anything that may be needed for BIGS to help maximize the impact your event can have. We also hone various fundraising tactics to utilize when working to receive donations for each event.


In the past BIGS has made connections with various businesses that have helped our events be a success. One example of this is the BIGS Fashion for the WISER show paired with local Indianapolis boutiques and stores who donated clothing for students at Butler University to model in the show to raise money for WISER International.


Volunteer Engagement


BIGS currently over 100 volunteers at its Butler University location willing to help make each event successful. Our high volume of human capital allows us to not only have multiple volunteers at each event but also help recruit new members. BIGS is constantly coming up with new and exciting ways for people to volunteer and give back to their community.


Communication is Key


The size and scale of BIGS affords us the opportunity to create negotiation leverage with suppliers and vendors, which will help lower the costs associated with fundraising. In addition, our communication skills have helped us gain connections with local news outlets that can help promote and cover the event put on.


Communication is something we highly value. We truly believe it is one of the most effective sources that lead to the success of an event. Not only is it beneficial for getting people to the event but also for raising money for your given cause. BIGS understands how important each individual cause is to every one of our clients. Marketing & Promotion


Our talented marketing sector can create one of a kind promotional campaigns to elevate awareness and increase the number of participants in your philanthropic causes. BIGS Marketing Executive Maggie Rohrer specializes in strategic communication as well as media production. These skills, along with the skills of her talented team, are at your disposal and ready to be utilized.


Marketing


BIGS has connections with various news sources and works with them to gain coverage before, during, and after your event. In addition, we hone skills in both on and off campus promotion to get the largest number of members at the event. We utilize social media both paid and organically to promote events and engage with people. Our website and SEO applications provide us with a platform to better market these events and the causes we working for.


Promotion


Whether on campus or out in the community, our team is ready to promote your event to gain the highest number of participants possible. Our grassroots marketing technique takes our team on foot and out into the community to make personal connections and engage with people to educate them on the event and peak their interest in coming.


Design


Our design team can help enhance you events in a multitude of ways. We can help create logos and promotional materials for your events such as posters, stickers and t-shirts. We also ensure that a member of our marketing team is present at the event filming and taking pictures as well as interviewing people to gain coverage of the event.


Finance


BIGS Finance Executive Yusuf Saeedi has lots of experience with numbers. BIGS will take care of tracking all expenses for each event put on. In addition, we track both the amount of money put into each event and the total raised. This way we can see how successful each event is. On average BIGS raises about 3.5 times the amount of money initially used to create the event.
