Lé Dinner En Fonce

Updated: Jan 8, 2020

Immersion dinner hosted on Butler's campus gives students perspective on visual impairment.

BIGS partnered with Bosma to introduce fine dining on a new level, in the dark. Butler students and several figures of the visually impaired community linked arms and forged a memorable night that made a lasting impact on everyone.

"I didn't realize how truly difficult it would be to enjoy a meal without the ability to see. I am grateful to help such a valuable cause" -Will Willoughby.

The opportunities BIGS has created for people to not only raise money for a cause but experience the life of those they are raising money for has been invaluable to the students of Butler University.

The Goal

The goal of this event was to raise awareness and capital for those who are blind and visually impaired. Dinner guests were supplied with blindfolds, forks, and knives as they consumed Fazoli’s and conversed among others at their table. A truly unique experience that enabled others to see into the lives of those who can’t. BIGS raised $2000 for BOSMA through this event.

The second annual Lé Dinner En Fonce will be held on March 24, 2020.
